Gilchrist worried over Deccan players' unavailability

Hyderabad: Australian Adam Gilchrist was "excited" to lead the defending champions Deccan Chargers in third edition of Indian Premier League, but at the same time a bit worried over unavailability of several team members.
"The mood is really fantastic. But it is a bit frustrating that we have not been able to assemble or work together for a consecutive number of days," the former stumper told reporters ahead of an exhibition match among the Deccan players here on Monday.
Although the tournament is less than a week away, several players of the franchise have not joined the team yet due to different reasons.
"We are just going to make most of the opportunity now. The mood is terrific, I am really excited and looking forward to the tournament," Gilchrist said.
The cash-awash tournament is commencing from March 12 and Deccan Chargers will take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the opening match in Mumbai.
